During my internship at a local marketing agency, I was paired with a senior designer, Tita Minda, for a client campaign. Task

I needed to align our approaches so we could meet the tight deadline without friction. My responsibility was to provide the content and key messaging, while she handled the visuals.

Action

Instead of insisting on daily stand-up meetings, I adapted to her rhythm. I suggested a hybrid approach: I would prepare a detailed content brief upfront, then she would work independently for two days. We agreed to two scheduled review points throughout the week. I made sure the brief was extremely clear, with bullet points and examples. When we met for reviews, I gave constructive and specific feedback, always acknowledging her expertise first. I also made myself available on chat for any quick clarifications she needed.

Result

The campaign was delivered a day early, and the bank's marketing manager praised the infographics' clarity and design.
