Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you represent that a parent or legal guardian is aware of your use of the Service and agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you are creating an account for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Kareera provides interview-preparation content, practice tools, and AI-assisted feedback for job applicants in the Philippines. The Service is provided for practice and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in a job offer, interview invitation, or any particular employment outcome. Sample answers, AI feedback, and interview guides are illustrative aids, not a promise of what any specific employer will ask or how they will evaluate you.

AI-generated feedback (answer grading, mock interview scoring, and job-description matching) is produced by an automated third-party AI system. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable to your specific situation, and it does not constitute professional career, legal, or employment advice.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Each account is for one individual — don't share your login with others or create multiple accounts to get around usage limits or plan restrictions.

Kareera offers a free tier and paid plans (currently a 7-Day AI Trial, a 1-Month AI Premium plan, and a 3-Month AI Premium plan) with pricing and features as shown on our Pricing page at the time of purchase. We may change plan pricing, features, or usage limits at any time; changes won't reduce what you're entitled to under a period you've already paid for.

Payment process. Payments are processed by PayMongo, a licensed third-party payment gateway, via GCash or card. Plan access is granted automatically once PayMongo confirms your payment — we never see or store your card or GCash credentials ourselves.

No refunds. All purchases are final. Because plan access is granted instantly and usage limits reset with each purchase, we do not offer refunds once a plan has been activated, except where required by law.

Affiliate discounts. Discount codes provided through our affiliate program are subject to change or discontinuation at any time and apply only to the plan price in effect when the code is used.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to obtain paid features without paying for them, including by exploiting a bug, misusing an affiliate discount code, or interfering with the payment process.
• Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass any usage limit, paywall, or access restriction on the Service.
• Scrape, copy, or republish the Service's question bank, interview guides, or other content in bulk, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal individual use.
• Post content (comments, submissions, or any other user-generated content) that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its networks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, at our discretion and without prior notice where warranted (for example, confirmed payment fraud).

You retain ownership of the content you submit (comments, practice answers, question submissions, and similar). By submitting content, you grant Kareera a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service — for example, showing your comment to other users, or using an anonymized/aggregated version of practice answers to improve our content or AI feedback. We may review, moderate, or remove any user-generated content at our discretion, including content flagged by other users.

The Service, including its question bank, interview guides, branding, and underlying software, is owned by Kareera or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the license you grant us over your own content (Section 6), nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. You may use the Service for your own personal interview preparation; you may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (hosting/database), Vercel (application hosting), DeepSeek (AI processing), Resend (email), and PayMongo (payment processing, including GCash and card payments). We aren't responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services, which have their own terms and privacy policies.

Our job board displays openings published on third-party Philippine job boards. Each listing is attributed to its source and links back to the original posting, which is where applications are made. Kareera does not collect applications, CVs, or contact details for these roles, is not the employer or a recruitment agency, and is not party to any hiring decision.

Listings are reproduced as published and may be inaccurate, out of date, or already filled. Always confirm the details on the original posting before applying. If you are an employer or job board and want a listing removed, email us and we will take it down.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or if required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4's no-refund policy, 7, 10, and 11) will survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Kareera's total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
