Situation

As part of the GDP group case assessment, my group received a prompt to boost ShopeePay usage among 18-25 year olds.

Task

My role was to contribute ideas, structure the group's analysis, and help deliver a clear recommendation within the time limit.

Action

I suggested we first define the problem: low top-up rates possibly due to perceived inconvenience or lack of incentives. I proposed we segment Gen Z into students vs. young professionals and consider pain points like cash-in fees. I volunteered to write the whiteboard framework, listing customer journey stages. When a teammate got stuck, I built on their idea to gamify top-ups with limited-edition vouchers. I managed time by reminding the group when to converge and who would present each part.

Result

Our group presented a structured plan with three pillars: seamless cash-in, gamified rewards, and social referral features. The assessors praised our collaborative approach and the customer-centric framework.
