Action

I immediately checked the inventory system to confirm there was no back stock, then informed the shift supervisor. While waiting for the supplier's call, I politely told waiting customers that a partial delivery was expected within two hours and offered a small discount on a substitute drink in the meantime. I also rearranged the display to feature the alternative more prominently.
