Situation

In my previous role at a BPO sales account for a cloud solutions provider, we were pitching Microsoft 365 to a mid-sized logistics company. The client had complex integration needs that required technical validation, so I initiated collaboration with our pre-sales engineer and marketing team.

Task

My task was to coordinate the efforts of the technical and marketing teams to tailor our proposal, ensuring the client's technical doubts were addressed while also convincing the decision-makers of the business value.

Action

First, I organized a joint discovery call with the client's IT head and our pre-sales engineer to identify integration pain points. I then worked closely with the marketing team to customize a case study that mirrored the client's industry. Throughout the process, I led weekly sync-ups to align all parties, and I personally paraphrased technical details into business benefits during the final proposal presentation.

Result

The client signed a three-year contract worth PHP 5 million, and they later expanded their scope to include Azure migration consulting. Our post-sale survey rated our coordination as a key differentiator.
