Situation

During a school organization treasurer role, I was responsible for tallying daily concession sales and depositing the cash.

Task

I had to ensure every peso was accounted for before submitting the report to our adviser, or the group's funds could be short.

Action

I created a simple spreadsheet where I logged each sale item and quantity. After every shift, I counted the cash three times and cross-checked it with the log. When a fifty-peso discrepancy appeared once, I rechecked the receipts and found a missed entry from a member's purchase.

Result

Thanks to that habit, our records were always exact, and we passed the organization's audit with zero findings. The adviser praised my systematic approach and asked me to train new treasurers.
