- ▸ Sinasabi ng ibang Pinoy candidate na 'Nagbakasyon lang po ako' o 'Nag-apply po ako sa iba kaya okay lang maghintay,' pero hindi ito magandang impression. Mas value ng employer ang initiative at disiplina kahit waiting.
- ▸ Often Filipino VAs might say 'May konting experience po ako sa ganyan' without specifics. That's a red flag. Vague Taglish like 'Pwede ko naman aralin yan, madali lang naman' sounds like you're underestimating the complexity. Instead, list real tools with clear examples.
- ▸ Maraming Pinoy VAs, sa takot magmukhang bobo, mag-a-assume nalang. 'Sige po, gagawin ko po.' Pero mali pala. O kaya magso-sorry nang magso-sorry: 'Sorry po hindi ko gets, sorry talaga.' Hindi professional. Be concise, don't over-apologize.
- ▸ Ang typical answer: 'Sana po maging successful VA at magka-bahay.' Mas okay na i-connect sa company growth: gusto mong mag-train ng iba, o mag-specialize sa isang skill na high-demand. Avoid 'Po, basta po stable job lang.' It sounds unambitious.
