Philippine-specific tips for this role

• ▸ Some Filipino candidates might say, "Basta, ma'am, ito po kasi maganda, mas mura pa," just claiming something is good and cheaper without explaining why. Instead, always connect features to the customer's specific needs, like "This model has a longer battery life, which is perfect if you're always on the go."
• ▸ A common mistake is over-apologizing with "Sorry po, sorry po" repeatedly without offering a solution, which can sound insincere. Better to say, "I understand why you're upset, sir. Let me fix this right away."
• ▸ Trying to sound overly technical by saying, "Actually, compound interest is essentially the addition of interest to the principal sum..." loses the audience. Instead, say, "Think of it this way: your money earns money, and then that earned money also earns money."
• ▸ Don't say, "Sa Security Bank kasi mas maganda," without specifics. A vague claim like that sounds like an unsupported sales pitch. Instead, anchor your pitch to whatever concrete benefit the client actually cares about, for example: "Based on what you just told me about wanting easier access to your funds, here's specifically how that would work with us."
