Philippine-specific tips for this role

• ▸ Candidates often say 'I just worked harder po' or 'Nag-double time lang po ako' without describing a concrete system. Over-apologizing: 'Sorry po, first time ko po kasi makaranas ng ganyan' shifts focus away from your problem-solving ability. Avoid mixing Taglish like 'Actually po, inayos ko na lang yung lahat kasi magulo na.'
• ▸ Over-use of Taglish: 'Yung debit po, para siyang plus sa left, yung credit minus sa right... kasi po aah, gets niyo po?' Apologizing: 'Medyo mahirap po talaga siya, sorry po hindi ko ma-explain ng maayos.' Throwing technical terms without simplification: 'Explained debits/credits as per PAS 1' does not show communication skill.
• ▸ Downplaying: 'Wala naman pong masyadong effect' or 'Minor lang po.' Blaming: 'Yung instructions kasi malabo.' Over-apologizing without a concrete fix: 'Sorry po talaga, lesson learned na po' but not explaining the system you changed. Using passive voice: 'Nagka-mali po yung data' instead of 'I made a mistake.'
• ▸ Scripted answers: 'PwC is one of the Big 4, maganda po sa resume' or 'Gusto ko po kasi magandang training.' Using generic praise: 'World-class firm po kasi.' Not linking to a personal value or experience. Overly vague: 'I want to grow po and learn' without specifics on contribution.
• ▸ Vague assertions: 'Chine-check ko po talaga every detail' without describing a method. Saying 'Perfectionist po kasi ako' but skipping steps. Over-relying on one approach: 'Nag-double check lang po ako' without explaining what that entailed. Using non-standard terms like 're-check ng paulit-ulit.'
