Philippine-specific tips for this role

• ▸ Some candidates might say, 'Ah basta, I will just use the same formula for both, kasi analysis lang naman lahat yan.' This sounds careless. Instead, say: 'I will first understand the unique value drivers of each industry and then select appropriate metrics that reflect their performance accurately.'
• ▸ A common mistake is to say, 'Sorry po, wala kasing data, kaya hindi ko na lang tinuloy.' This shows lack of initiative. Instead, say: 'I identified the data gaps, then sought alternative sources and clearly communicated the limitations of my analysis.'
• ▸ Some may say, 'Nakiusap lang po ako sa kanila, then nag-agree naman sila.' That's too vague and informal. Better: 'I used a structured feedback process and facilitated a meeting to align everyone's priorities, ensuring each group felt heard.'
• ▸ A candidate might just list generic metrics: 'Titingnan ko lang yung revenue at profit.' That lacks depth. Improve: 'I would look at metrics that reflect each industry's unique drivers, like load factor for an airline and net interest margin for a bank, and then see how each contributes to the group's overall return on capital.'
