Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated: August 17, 2026. These terms govern your participation as an affiliate partner of kareera.co. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you have been issued an affiliate code, you are bound by these terms.

1. What You Earn

You earn 20% commission on every paid plan purchased through your affiliate code. There is no cap on the number of referrals or the total amount you can earn.

Commission is calculated on the plan's full list price, not on the reduced amount the customer pays after your 10% discount. The discount comes out of our share, not yours. On a ₱499 plan your referral pays ₱449.10 and you earn ₱99.80. Free plans, free trials, and the free tier earn no commission, since no payment is made.

Your running totals, your referred purchases, and your pending balance are visible any time on your affiliate dashboard.

2. How Referrals Are Tracked

A purchase is credited to you when either your share link or your code is used. Clicking your link stores your code in the buyer's browser for 30 days, so you are still credited if they come back and buy later within that window. A buyer can also type your code directly at checkout.

Attribution is last-touch. If a buyer arrives through your link and then through another affiliate's link before purchasing, the most recent code is the one credited. A code the buyer types or removes at checkout always overrides the stored one.

Tracking depends on the buyer's browser accepting cookies and on the code being present at the moment of purchase. We credit what our system records. We cannot retroactively credit a purchase where no code was recorded.

3. When Commission Is Earned

Commission is earned once our payment provider confirms the payment. It appears in your pending balance at that point, and we email you when it does.

Kareera does not offer refunds on plan purchases, so commission is not normally reversed. We do reverse it in the case of a chargeback, a payment reversal, or a purchase we determine to be fraudulent or self-referred.

4. Getting Paid

Minimum payout. We pay out once your pending balance reaches ₱500. Anything below that rolls over to the next period rather than expiring.

Schedule. Payouts are processed monthly, within the first ten business days of the following month, for balances that met the minimum as of the end of the prior month.

Method. We pay by GCash or Philippine bank transfer, to the account details you give us. You are responsible for giving us correct details. We are not liable for funds sent to an incorrect account you provided.

Taxes. You are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes owed on your commission income. We do not withhold taxes on your behalf. For larger or ongoing payouts we may need to collect your TIN and issue documentation as required by Philippine law.

Closing your account. If you leave the program, we pay out any earned balance on the next scheduled payout, including balances below the minimum, unless your participation was ended for the reasons in Section 6.

5. Your Obligations

Disclose the relationship. You must make it clear to your audience that you earn a commission. A visible "affiliate link," "paid partnership," or equivalent mention is enough. This is not optional.

Do not promise outcomes. Kareera is interview practice. Do not state or imply that using it guarantees a job, an interview, a passing score, or employment with any specific company.

Represent us accurately. Describe pricing, features, and the free tier as they actually are. Do not invent statistics, testimonials, or endorsements, and do not present yourself as an employee or official representative of Kareera.

Respect your audience. No spam, no unsolicited bulk messaging, and no posting your code in communities whose rules prohibit promotion.

6. What Is Not Allowed

The following void the affected commission and may end your participation in the program:

Buying through your own code, or coordinating with others to do so. Bidding on "Kareera" or close variants as paid search keywords. Listing your code on coupon, deal, or discount-aggregator sites. Registering domains, social accounts, or app listings that use our name or branding in a way likely to be mistaken for us. Automated traffic, bots, or any attempt to manufacture referrals. Misrepresenting the product or our terms.

7. Changes and Termination

Either of us can end this arrangement at any time, for any reason, by telling the other. If you end it or we end it for an ordinary reason, you keep any commission already earned and it is paid per Section 4. If we end it because of Section 6, unpaid commission connected to that conduct is forfeited.

We may change the commission rate, the discount rate, plan pricing, or these terms. We will give you reasonable notice by email before a change to the commission rate takes effect, and the change will not apply retroactively to commission already earned.

Your affiliate code stays yours while you are in the program. We may deactivate a code that has been unused for an extended period, and we will email you first if we do.

8. Relationship of the Parties

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Kareera. Nothing here creates an employment relationship or gives you authority to enter into any commitment on our behalf.

9. Contact

Questions about the program, your balance, or a payout go to hello@kareera.co. We would rather sort something out early than have you guess.
